The primary goal of the Executive and Legislative Agenda (ELA) –Comprehensive Development and Land Use (CDLUP) is to maintain the ecological stability of the area and support sustainable development of the ecosystem. The elements of these goals are:
a. To uplift the socio-economic condition of the people
b. To protect, conserve and rehabilitate natural habitats and their associated biodiversity, resources and landscape values;
c. To organize and empower communities and enable them to participate actively in resource management
d. To develop, promote and manage sustainable alternative livelihood systems;
e. To protection and secure the people from natural disaster and climate change variability
f. To create a responsive and proactive local government and support people’s initiatives for development.
